Born: Nagpur ( India) 30/12/1944 After 13 years as a social worker I launched my photographic career in 1977 starting off as a magazine photographer and later moving on to advertising work. Have traveled widely and been commissioned to shoot in many parts of the world including USA, UK, Europe, Singapore, Japan etc. I moved to Dubai in June '98 to better serve a growing international clientele. Highly experienced in Product & model photography. Well versed in Travel, Hotel, Food and Dance photography as well. Equally at home in the studio and on location. Over 250 magazine and book covers to my credit. Was commissioned by publishers from U.K. Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mauritius and India for 17 books. Work published in over 35 countries of the world. Have over 1,00,000 transparencies in my stock library Image Solutions. Have recently launched our first catalog of Royalty Free images under the brand name of gulfimages.com. Photography for Tribhuvan Das Bhimji Jhaveri, TVS 50 Mopeds, E.C.TV and Wipro computers have won Bombay and Madras Ad. Club awards. The menu for the Coffee-shop at the Welcome group Sea-Rock Sheraton Hotel which was designed and photographed by me won the "best menu" award from the "Federation of Hotels and Restaurant’s Association of India." Posters for Goa and Uttar Pradesh Tourism have won prizes at TAAI and IATO conventions and photographic display for Kerala Tourism have won prizes at TAAI and South Asian Tourism & Travel Exchange. Have also won prizes in other all India open photography contests. I can offer my clients the world’s best high end digital imaging system capable of delivering a staggering 245 mb, 8 bit pure digital files for product and still life photography. My clients have blown up these files up to 2.5 meters x 4.5 meters. For fashion and model photography the files are capable of delivering excellent results up to A0 in four colour printing and 1m x 1.4 m in digital photographic prints. A special portable computer makes it possible to shoot digital on battery power and the digital system can go anywhere except underwater. Needless to say I also undertake conventional film photography and have comprehensive 35 mm, medium format and 4" x 5" camera systems. Lighting consists of adequate Studio and location kits with complete capability of shooting with my own captive power source making it possible to shoot in the desert, etc. We also have strobe flash and other specialist lighting capabilities.
